3.Removing of Wax by Heating

The mould is heated uniformly in the coal oven to melt the wax and the melting wax exists through the rod channel making a hollow mould. This process is called "lost wax".

Over 100 years.....
In Min Nath Temple yard opposite to Machhendra Nath Temple, a huge pair of brass made lion guards is roaring for 100 years with goddess Tara sitting on them. These lions have unique art at Patan. They are established by my late grand father Hira Man Shakya on auspicious 5 th birth day of his son Singh Raj Shakya. Later the son was died of diarrhoea.  (Craft owner)
